In 2002, Sarah formed Sterling Search after seeing a void in the market for non-profit organizations needing to hire the best talent but working with a limited budget. Sterling Search allows Sarah to provide personalized recruiting solutions to her clients by eliminating costly overhead. Sarah’s in-depth search practices help drive consensus when a committee is initially divided on their criteria.
Sarah is a regular speaker at the Association of Fundraising Professionals in Orange County, and serves on numerous non-profit committees in her community in their effort to raise funds for their annual events. Sterling Search is the only non-profit executive search that is affiliated with OneOC (the resources center for non-profits for Orange County). Through that role Sarah interfaces with leaders in the non-profit community in its role to assist non-profits with governance, organizational development, fiscal responsibility fundraising and board development.
Sarah was previously the Chairman and President of the British American Business Council-Orange County, is currently on the selection committee for the National Human Resources Association and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Educated in England at Gloscat, Sarah currently lives with her family in Newport Beach, CA.
