Carol Robinson

Carol Robinson began her career at an international executive search firm, where she worked with an array of public and private sector organizations. Carol then led the Board Resourcing and Development Office (Office of the Premier, BC Provincial Government), where she identified numerous candidates and conducted board governance training for multi-level provincial agencies, crown corporations, post-secondary institutions boards.

In 2008, Carol became a founding equity partner of Harbour West Consulting working with organizations throughout British Columbia and across Canada. In 2017, integrated additional firm services to provide holistic recruitment and human resources support. She continues to lead a national search and consulting practice and is a sought-after public speaker both locally and internationally on public and non-profit sector recruitment, and governance best practices. Carol has her Bachelor of Arts, University of British Columbia and his HR Management Certificates, BCIT. Carol recently completed the online Indigenous Canada Certificate, University of Alberta

Carol currently serves as a Board Member of Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland and is the Gala Committee Chair. Additionally, she is a Board Member of the Lower Lonsdale Shipyards District BIA and volunteers for Vantage Point. She is a former Public Member for the College of Midwives of British Columbia and the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia. Carol is the recipient of the Big Sisters’ Lower Mainland Big Heart Award, and a former YWCA Women of Distinction (Entrepreneurship & Innovation) and Veuve Clicquot New Generation Award Finalist.
