Abe Taleb

Abe Taleb, Founding Partner of Equitable Hiring Group, is an experienced entrepreneur and search professional, passionate about helping mission-driven organizations and social enterprises find the strongest talent to support their work.

Abe co-founded ReWork, a B Corp recruiting firm that put top talent to work on the world’s most pressing issues. ReWork was at the forefront of using technology to match and connect rising leaders with meaningful work opportunities.

At ReWork, Abe used an innovative blend of technology and search process to recruit highly qualified talent to mission-driven clients. Koya Leadership Partners acquired ReWork in 2017 and Abe subsequently joined the Koya team as a Managing Director. Following a complete integration of ReWork into Koya, Abe left to launch Equitable Hiring Group.

Abe’s professional interests meet at the intersection of social enterprise, policy innovation, and racial justice. He has placed key hires at Acumen, Safe Passage Project, Sierra Club, Supermajority, and Third Sector, among hundreds of others.

Abe remains active in the nonprofit world as Board Chair for Basta, bridging the college-to-career gap for first-generation college-goers of color. His prior honors and volunteer commitments for impact include being named to Pittsburgh’s One Young World Delegation, Coro’s Leaders in Learning Program, a Western PA Rising Star, a StartingBloc Fellow, a NationSwell council member, and as a founding member of Global Shapers Pittsburgh.
