Jessie Okelberry
Jessie Okelberry (she/her) is a Vice President at Morris & Berger, an executive search firm specializing in the nonprofit sector.
Jessie plays an active role in facilitating the search process from start to finish, working closely with the firm’s Partners, search committees, and candidates to ensure goals are reached, searches are completed in a well-organized and timely manner, and everyone is treated with integrity and respect. She helps develop candidate pools, participates in interviews, and conducts thorough reference checks, communicating with both prospective and active candidates, updating search committees, and sharing search results with all stakeholders.
Prior to joining Morris & Berger in 2011, Jessie worked in development for higher education and performing arts organizations in New York City and Los Angeles, including at the world-renowned Geffen Playhouse. She earned her MA in Public Administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management from the University of Southern California and her BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz. A native of San Francisco and lifelong lover of the arts, Jessie lives in Altadena, California with her family.
